Hardtec ceramic coating acts as a protective layer for the bend's metal casing, preventing it from being damaged by abrasive wear or corrosion. The estimate we have is that a curve coated with Hardtec ceramic lasts up to 10x longer than an uncoated curve. As it is a point with more friction, the curve becomes a critical point for industrial pipes, and it is highly recommended to protect them if you want to avoid unscheduled shutdowns.
